iExpression Half-Pipe Tutorial

head_tutorials_ae_iexpressions_half_pipe

In this three part video tutorial You will learn how to make your animations more believable and realistic using real physics simulations. With iExpressions this can be done easy and quickly without writing a single line of expressions code.

In the first part we create all the basic ingredients using the pen tool. We also cover a clever technique to smooth your pen strokes.

In second part we use the “Roller Coaster” iExpressions to make the Aetuts+ logo move like a skateboarder in a half-pipe. At the end of this part, we also cover another super easy and super useful physics simulation.

In third part we add the missing highlights. We use KeyTweak to teach our skateboarder some cool tricks in the half-pipe. If you ever wondered how you can modify animations with hundreds of keyframes without touching each keyframe manually this tutorial is for you!
